From careers to 5-minute courses: how technology transforms us.

People have always been afraid of what they don’t know, some prefer that comfortable space of relative safety, and others learn and evolve.

What were once in-demand professions became minor subjects and, over time, short 10-minute courses. In other words, they lost their usefulness or became excessively simple. Take the example of typing: from the 1930s to the 1960s, it was a highly demanded profession; from 1960 to 1970, it was a filler subject in schools, and in the 1980s it lost importance, eventually becoming a 5-minute course. The same can be said of marketing, easily replaced by artificial intelligence, you can do it with 3 tools can be ChatGPT (or similar), OpusAI and StylizedAI. And you know what the best thing is? Your advertising won’t be just another copy with the one they put your name on.

When the pandemic started, and we all had to work virtually, it became evident that there was a lot of neglect in terms of learning new technologies, and for many people it was very difficult to change.
Personally, I have been online since I was 13 years old, but I met people over 40 who were having difficulty using tools like Microsoft Teams. As I offered them guidance, I wondered: what did they do when they finished college? Did they look for a job and repeat a series of steps?

It was disconcerting and, at the same time, sad; it was as if they were stuck in the past and woke up in a strange and complex future.

I don’t have much to say, other than this: Stay up to date! and be aware that your profession may end up being reduced to a 5-minute course.
